Markku Salo is a well-known glass artist and designer from Finland.
The artist produces small series, for instance, they are the results of experiments with new colours. All of the works have been made by handcrafted glassblowing techniques in Nuutajärvi, Markku Salo’s studio.
Among the awards Markku Salo has received are the Georg Jensen Prize, the State of Finland Prize for Industrial and Applied Arts and Kaj Franck Design Prize 2015.
