All Miiko pan coasters are made in Finland from certified birch plywood with a melamine surface. A multi-purpose, beautiful trivet stands up well to use and heat. In addition to the traditional way of use, pannunalunen is beautiful on its own or as part of compositions. It also gives you a nice change of place settings. The plywood used in the pan stand is made environmentally friendly from PEFC and FSC certified Finnish birch.
